Integrated Waste General Manager
Ideal Candidate Statement  The Integrated Waste General Manager provides leadership and management of the Recycling and Solid Waste Division of the City of Sacramento's Department of Public Works. The incumbent is responsible for overseeing day to day operations of the City's Solid Waste collection, including garbage, recycling, green waste, and street sweeping. The position is also responsible for overseeing management of the operations and maintenance of the City's landfill program, which is comprised of approximately 250 acres of landfill, including interface with associated regulatory agencies. Division programs also include appointment-based household pickup, seasonal leaf collection, oversight/regulation of commercial waste haulers,
