The Executive Director is responsible for the oversite of a multi- county solid waste system that serves cities, towns, and rural areas. The Executive Director will need to work closely with the Board of Directors that has oversite of the system. The components of the system include a landfill, solid waste routes, trucking, a heavy equipment fleet, and grinding operations.   EDUCATION, TECHNICAL SKILLS, AND CERTIFICATION Thorough understanding of management and financial practices.
