The Department of Geosciences and Geological and Petroleum Engineering (GGPE) at the Missouri University of Science and Technology invites applications for a post doctoral researcher in aqueous geochemistry to begin in spring or summer 2023. The candidate will work closely with Dr. David Borrok on experimental and field investigations of water-rock interactions. Relevant qualifications include laboratory experience, work with ICP instrumentation, and geochemical modeling. The successful applicant will be expected to write manuscripts and present scientific papers. They will also have the opportunity to write grant proposals. Support will be provided to attend scientific meetings. A Ph.D. in the geosciences or a closely related field at the time of hire is required.
