Position Summary: Under the general supervision of the General Manager, coordinates and oversees all state and federal environmental compliance and sampling mandates. Responsible for maintenance, testing and operation of Groundwater, Leachate, and gas collection systems. Essential Job Functions: An employee in this position may be called upon to do any or all of the following essential functions. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily. Assures landfill compliance with all local, state, and federal environmental standards for a Type II sanitary landfill.
