Did you happen to see that whale out there? Pretty amazing sight, eh! Haven’t seen it yet? Well, where are you right now while you are reading this ad? We are here, bordered by rugged mountains and situated on a peninsula (no, it’s not an Island) in the traditional territory of the shíshálh (Sechelt) and Skwxwú7mesh (Squamish) First Nations. This is an area that is known for its mild winters, beautiful surroundings, arts, recreation and culture, definitely a preferred tourist destination and it is an amazing place to live, work and play. Yes, there are whales out there and much, much more. You can also hike, bike, camp, kayak, golf, play the fiddle, star in a play, take up yoga, do fiber arts, SUP, go sailing, snowshoe, fish, scuba dive, play darts, outrigger canoe, windsurf or, as was portrayed in a famous Canadian TV show on CBC, go do some beachcombing here on the beautiful Sunshine Coast. Enjoy the fresh air and friendly people.
