Solid Waste Operations Superintendent
There are three Superintendent positions within the Department of Sanitation Services: Solid Waste Operations, Landfill Operations, and Transfer Station Operations.   Superintendents plan, organize, and direct the work of subordinate managers and supervisors within their respective divisions. Additionally, Superintendents provide mentorship, training, and support to ensure all activities are handled safely, efficiently, and effectively.The Solid Waste Operations Superintendent reports to the Assistant Director for Operations, and the Landfill and Transfer Station Superintendents report to the Assistant Director for Post-Collection Operations.  The Superintendent positions are distinguished from the assistant director positions in that the latter has overall coordination, pla
