NATURE OF WORKUnder general supervision performs high level of administrative, technical and professional workconcerning all areas of local government management.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSPrepares a variety of studies, reports and related information for decision making purposes; conductsresearch analysis and prepares recommendations regarding proposals for programs, systems, serviceimprovements, grants, budgets, equipment, etc.Responsible for individual Town projects on a continuous basis in areas such as budget, technologyand intergovernmental relations.Assists in the preparation and administration of annual operating budget; reviews and analyzesbudget requests, expenditures, and revenues with other key staff. May monitor revenues andexpenditures of an enterprise fund.MINIMUM TRAINING AND EXPERIENCEMaster’s Degree in Public Administration, Business Administration or a closely related field plus two(2) years of experience relating to municipal budget or local government. Knowledge of budgetingand operation of Enterprise
Master’s Degree in Public Administration, Business Administration or a closely related field plus two(2) years of experience relating to municipal budget or local government. Knowledge of budgetingand operation of Enterprise Funds desirable. Suitable experience may be substituted for educationalattainment.
