The City of Olathe, Kansas is looking for a Solid Waste Manager to lead a team nationally recognized for excellence in service delivery. The City's Solid Waste Division provides award winning solid waste services to its 143,000 residents including automated curbside trash and recycling to over 40,000 households and commercial service to over 800 Olathe businesses. This leader will perform a wide variety of highly responsible, complex and diverse advanced level professionals duties involved in managing, planning, directing and promoting the activities and operations of the Solid Waste Division of the Infrastructure Department in providing an integrated solid waste management system for the City of Olathe.
Supervises: Direct supervision of Assistant Solid Waste Manager, 4 Solid Waste Supervisors and indirect supervision of 60+ Solid Waste staff.
