Nestled into a 130-acre site in the Shenandoah Valley, this facility was founded in 1941, establishing a long legacy of excellence that continues to this day. It was initially built to produce the penicillin and vitamins essential to our efforts in World War II, and in the following decades has manufactured products to address such vital issues as Parkinson’s disease, HIV, blood-pressure conditions, cholesterol problems, heartburn, and animal and crop diseases.
Optimizing processes to deliver world-class supplies at globally competitive price points, our teams are now manufacturing and packaging solutions for osteoarthritis, ocular hypertension, HPV-related cancers and diseases, bacterial diseases, diabetes and other challenging conditions.
