Under the direction of the Executive Director, Superintendent or Assistant Superintendent, responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of Operations personnel, monitoring the plant operation & process and coordinating any activities involving other plant departments. A high degree of independent judgement to accomplish the work and developing new programs with accountable results is expected.  Women and minorities are strongly encouraged to apply.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or trade school degree required. A Degree in Biology, Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering or other related technical field is preferred. Other combinations of experience and education which provide the knowledge and skills required to perform the job may be considered.
• Possession of a S-3 wastewater treatment license; S-4 license is preferred.
• Valid drivers license
• Minimum of ten (10) years experience in plant operations including five (5) years experience in a operational supervisory capacity in a medium to large wastewater treatment facility.
