Widefield Water and Sanitation District (WWSD) is offering an exciting career opportunity in Colorado Springs, Colorado. WWSD is seeking a Wastewater Department Manager with the following minimum qualifications: Must possess a Colorado Class A Wastewater Operator Certification; five years of supervisory experience and ten years of wastewater systems or related work experience; or a Bachelor’s Degree with five years of related work experience and three years of supervisory experience. (preference will be given to applicants who possess a Class A and a Class 4 Certification). The District is looking for a leader who takes pride in their work, their team, and company. Excellent communication skills are a must. The Wastewater Department Manager reports directly to the District Manager. This is a full-time, exempt, salaried position.
The District’s Wastewater Plant was upgraded in 2019 to include biological nutrient and phosphorus removal.
