Seattle Public Utilities (SPU) has an opening for a Clean City Senior Planning & Development Specialist (Plng&Dev Spec, Sr) in the Solid Waste Line of Business. This position will be tasked with coordinating the development, implementation, and assessment of the Public Place Litter and Recycling Can Program. Experience: Three (3) years of experience in planning and research related to land use, environmental issues, conservation, inspection, community partnerships, or budgeting and financial forecasting; or other work directly related to City planning and development activities.
Education: Bachelor's degree in planning, urban design, environmental studies, public administration, business administration, finance, or related field.
Combinations of appropriate education, training, certification and experience will be evaluated on an individual basis for comparability to the minimum education and experience requirements.
