GENERAL POSITION SUMMARY:
This is a senior level management position that exists to lead and manage the department that serves Orenco’s municipal and commercial customer base (customers with Orenco products installed/managed), while maintaining an acceptable level of profitability through enhanced renewal and replacement sales. The UOSM oversees the tracking operation and maintenance protocols for Orenco manufactured assets within a worldwide customer base, leading departmental staff in communicating pertinent information necessary to assure that Orenco’s products are operated optimally. The UOSM is responsible for: hiring and training department staff, the development and delivery of training programs for Orenco customers, establishing the economic value of Orenco equipment within customer wastewater infrastructure, and development and implementation of strategic plans. Department staff will utilize technical knowledge and training to assist customers in optimizing their operations, assisting with planning and design of upgrades or expansions, recommending products; advise customers regarding equipment installation, usage, repair and maintenance; troubleshoot system problems and provide quality customer service in all internal and external interactions.
Bachelor’s degree in technical or business field or comparable work experience.

Office environment. Travel requirements will involve exposure to outside weather conditions at customer sites. Frequent overnight stays in temporary lodging. Occasional exposure to wastewater, requiring proper use of personal protective equipment including but not limited to gloves. Frequent operation of a motor vehicle as extensive travel is required.
