Technical Experience Required:

• Strong Air Permitting expertise
• Expertise in other multi-media compliance—air, water and waste
• Environmental Program Management and Planning
• Expertise in implementing compliance to CAA, CWA, CERCLA, NPDES, RCRA, TSCA
• Demonstrated and working knowledge of state and local regulations for Mid-Atlantic areas pertaining to air quality, water quality, waste management, stormwater and hazardous waste / hazardous materials management
• Agency Enforcement Response and Negotiation
• High-level Agency interaction and client advocacy
• Technical Report Writing

Consulting Experience Required:

• Demonstrated experience developing new business
• Account Management / managing client expectations
• Leading proposal initiatives and communicating the scope of deliverables
• Ability to help market company through “Thought Leadership”
• Solid understanding of financial reporting, business principles and planning
• Ability to develop technical team
• Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
• Ability to balance immediate and strategic initiatives

Candidate with the following experience and background will be considered:

• 15-20 years in the environmental profession
• 7-10 years in leadership positions—managing staff
• 5+ years in Environmental Project Management
• Some consulting experience including account management and business development
• Prior experience having some level of financial responsibility—specifically profitability
• Experience generating technical content for presentations, marketing and peer review
• A minimum of a BS in Engineering, Environmental, or an Applied Science
• MS highly desired
• PE a plus
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
