The Fremont Sanitation District (FSD) is seeking qualified candidates for our Plant Superintendent position.
The Plant Superintendent works under the general direction of the District Manager to manage the operation and maintenance of the Wastewater Treatment Plant, Laboratory, Solids Processing & Disposal, and Pretreatment functions in a cost-effective manner. This position will serve as the Operator in Responsible Charge, in addition to being responsible for supervision of staff, compliance with the regulations set forth by the State of Colorado and the United States Environmental Protection Agency, and for providing strategic planning and leadership at the plant. The Plant Superintendent has direct supervisory responsibilities for the following positions: Laboratory Technician, Maintenance Foreman, Chief Operator and Pretreatment Coordinator. Employee must reside within a 30-minute response time to the Wastewater Treatment Plant.
