General Statement/ Organizational Responsibilities
Responsible for strategy, forecasting, planning, and overall performance of the Operations, Maintenance, and RR&R departments. Key responsibilities include oversight of the aligning efforts to the strategic goals and direction of the District, streamlining operational processes to meet regulations, and the maintaining service levels for the District's service area.
Minimum QualificationsBachelor's degree in science, engineering, business or related field. Eight years of progressive responsibility leading a diverse workforce in the operation of a facility or organization. Four years of senior leadership experience providing supervision to supervisors and managers. Class A Wastewater certification. Experience tying organizational goals to department policies and practices. Experience interacting and communicating with a board of directors. EquivalencyEquivalency equals two years of directly related professional experience for every year of education not completed. The stated experience requirement is in addition to any experience used to meet the education equivalency. Desired QualificationsExperience working as a senior director in the water industry for a large diverse work group. PMP Certification. Lean Six Sigma training or certification. Familiarity with Colorado permit and water regulations. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
