The primary role of the Organizational Development Leader is to promote, influence, and lead development and adoption of enterprise-wide programs and processes that working cooperatively with TWA employees: 1) advance performance results across organizational priority areas; and 2) promotes growth of a high-performing, engaged, change-capable and inclusive workforce. The Leader designs solutions that both preserve the unique character of Toho Water Authority and facilitates necessary change to enhance TWA’s position as an industry best practice leader.
This expansive role leads TWA’s process improvement function; and provides the vision and leadership to drive an integrated approach to process optimization, organizational design, systems management, and team effectiveness. The Leader will be expected to help translate business goals and objectives into organizational strategies that provide alignment across TWA departments. Working directly under the TWA Executive Director, this role will work to enhance TWA’s change agility, delivering innovative solutions and creating a high-performance, sustainable organization that consistently meets its strategic and operational goals.
The successful candidate will meet the minimum qualifications for this position and be able to demonstrate: 1) the ability and experience in optimizing performance, procedures, and process controls in a complex, multi-disciplinary organization; 2) a working knowledge of a diverse range of business functions; 3) experience as a communicator who understands the benefits of relationships and the role of influence in process adoption; and 4) an understanding of business process improvement techniques including business process modeling.
This position reports directly to the Executive Director.
