Seattle City Light, a department of the City of Seattle, is one of the nation's largest municipally owned utilities in terms of the number of customers served. Today, City Light is a recognized national leader in energy efficiency and environmental stewardship. We are looking for a seasoned safe driving professional with experience in both program and project management to join the Safety, Health and Wellness Division as a Safe Driving Coordinator. This position will research, plan, develop, implement, audit and evaluate a Driver Safety Program and activities for the Utility This position will report to the Safety, Health and Wellness Manager – Technical Programs.
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Health, Safety, Toxicology, Industrial Hygiene, Biology, Engineering or a related field (or a combination of education, training and/or experience which provides an equivalent background required to perform the work of the class). Experience: Requires three years of experience in a safety or health related field (or a combination of education, training and/or experience which provides an equivalent background required to perform the work of the class). Certification/License: Driver's License or equivalent mobility.
