The Wastewater Treatment Department is seeking an Instrument Technician 2. This position installs, modifies, repairs, calibrates, and maintains electronic, hydraulic, mechanical, and pneumatic instruments and systems used to indicate, record, and provide data to Programmable Logic Controllers and SCADA systems for process control to maximize the efficiency of treatment plants and pumping stations.

EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING GUIDELINES:Any combination of experience and training that would likely provide the required knowledge, skills and abilities is qualifying. A typical way to obtain the knowledge, skills and abilities would be:
Responsible experience in installing, modifying, repairing, and servicing electronic, pneumatic, mechanical, and hydraulic instruments; Training in instrument technology, electronics technology, or related fields.
CERTIFICATION AND LICENSURE:Must possess a valid of Oregon Limited Energy Technician (LEB) License or higher level at time of application.Upon selection, candidate must possess and maintain a valid State issued driver's license.
