Centennial Water and Sanitation District is currently accepting applications for a Water Quality Analyst II position. Successful applicants must have a desire to work in a strong team environment and be very detail orientated.
Responsibilities include collecting water and wastewater samples, performing chemical and microbiological analysis, preparing reports, and maintaining laboratory databases. Additional responsibilities may include implementing the district’s Industrial Pretreatment Program, performing inspections, evaluating industrial pretreatment data, and implementing the lab’s quality control program to maintain state lab certification in accordance with the SDWA and NPDES quality assurance requirements.
This is a full time position working forty hours per week. Normal work week is Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.; however, schedule may include some weekend hours when necessary.
Applicants must have a minimum of two years previous laboratory testing experience in a water and/or wastewater laboratory, a four year college degree in a related field, a valid Colorado driver’s license and an acceptable Motor Vehicle report. Applicant experience with setup and operation of a Lab Information Management System is preferred but not required.
