GHD is offering the opportunity for an Industrial Hygiene Consultant/Scientist (CAC/CSST) to join our interdisciplinary team of motivated professional scientists, planners and engineers in either our Roseville, Cameron Park, Santa Rosa or Emeryville, CA offices. As a GHD scientist, you will be called upon to support a diversity of projects in challenging and unique settings. You will work diligently as an integral member of the GHD team to deliver meaningful information to our clients. You will interface directly with clients, engage with contractors and be largely responsible for your own work. You will become a trusted point of contact for our clients. Scientists will be called upon to support large and small projects throughout northern California. Work tasks will vary greatly, but may generally include: performance of industrial hygiene surveys (for asbestos, lead, and other hazardous materials), environmental compliance documentation, contractor monitoring, environmental data collection, report/specifications production and regulatory standard interpretation. Travel is a required component of this position and will likely include greater than 50% field work.
