Sinclair Oil Corporation is seeking an experienced and motivated Manager of Occupational Safety, Standards & Systems to further our accelerated efforts to reduce risk and improve safety performance at our two refineries and associated corporate entities and office operations. This position will be located at Sinclair’s Salt Lake City office and will establish the occupational safety and related asset protection strategies for the organization. This position will also provide strategic direction and leadership for the safety, industrial health and emergency response teams at the corporate office and two Wyoming refineries. We are a diversified company encompassing a 20-state marketing operation for Sinclair Oil, hotels and resorts throughout the Western United States, and a large ranching operation in Wyoming/Montana. There are over 1,500 fuel stations and convenience stores west of the Mississippi that display the Sinclair name. We operate some of the most up-to-date refineries in the Western United States supplying customers with the highest quality Sinclair gasoline, diesel fuel, and jet fuel.

Qualified candidates will have 10+ years refining or manufacturing safety experience, with a degree in Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Engineering or other related field. Additionally, candidates must be able to demonstrate excellent organization, communication, people leadership and engagement skills. CSP or CIH certification preferred. Operations experience is a plus. Corporate experience is a plus, however, plant/field experience running/leading a safety team is required. Travel requirement of 30% to 50% is expected.
