Johnson County Wastewater (JCW) is looking for qualified candidates to fill the position of Managing Engineer - Collection System. The Johnson County Wastewater Managing Engineer – Collection System directs, coordinates, and manages the planning, design, and construction of engineering projects with JCW’s existing collection system personally or through direct reports. The successful candidate will have a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or other related field and at least five years of experience in both infiltration and inflow (I & I) evaluation and sewer design. Five years of project engineering/management experience, including experience in design and construction phases is also required. A Professional Engineer (PE) license is required. Driver's license and good driving record are also required.
A Master’s Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering is preferred. Two years of hydraulic modeling experience and one year of supervisory experience are also preferred.
