Oversee technical, skilled & complex work associated with the maintenance and repair of the District’s infrastructure. Proficiency in supervision, leadership & problem-solving; review & approve time cards; plan/schedule work; coordinate work across multiple departments; track resources; optimize costs; oversee inventory mgmt.; develop financial plans & budget; utilize & monitor computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) for work requests and work orders; develop work plans & SOPs.
Must possess & maintain valid driver’s license & satisfactory driving record.

Pass the required physical examination and drug screening. Once employed, pass random/reasonable suspicion/post-accident alcohol and drug testing as a condition of employment.
Experience, including supervisory experience in related field
Experience with CMMS systems, electronic work orders, wastewater treatment process control equipment/systems and related infrastructure is preferred. In the absence of such explicit experience, candidates must demonstrate an ability to learn new software systems, ability to use computer/software in a work environment and similar transferable skills.
College degree with a major related to technology, electrical or mechanical systems. Actual experience (skilled and semi-skilled) with managing, repairing and maintaining electrical and mechanical systems may be substituted for formal education. Preference shall be given to candidates who have accredited formal education in a relevant field including technical schools or associate degrees.
