Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or closely-related field required. Equivalent experience in a closely related field, paired with an appropriate technical education, may considered in lieu of the required degree. Professional Engineer (PE) certification is a plus.
Work Experience: Three to five years’ experience in field a closely related to the wastewater treatment industry is a plus.
Computer-related: Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications required. Proficiency in the more advanced aspects of MS Excel calculations (including VBA) preferred. Experience with and proficiency in MATLAB and/or 3D CAD (Autodesk Inventor) is a plus.
Mathematics: Consistently able to perform advanced mathematics consistent with the applicable engineering and scientific disciplines.
Mechanical: Capable of reviewing drawings, plans, and specifications, and able to relate drawings and specifications to others verbally and in written reports.
