USP Technologies is seeking a talented technical sales professional located in the Mid-Atlantic / Southeast area to work on challenging and impactful municipal and industrial projects. The Technical Sales Manager will be responsible for technical sales and business development to support growth of USP Technologies’ municipal and industrial wastewater treatment programs. Business development responsibilities include targeting specific clients within municipal and industrial (e.g. refinery, upstream oil and gas, steel, food, etc…) wastewater segments.
Working in tandem with in-house applications, engineering, and account specific project teams, the successful candidate will be responsible for up-front prospecting and business development efforts, including identifying and qualifying targets, positioning programs with potential customers, proposal generation and driving the ongoing sales development activities to deliver significant year over year revenue growth.
Municipal sales focus will be to lead and support development of regional municipal wastewater opportunities. This will require the ability to learn, sell and position USP odor and corrosion control technologies to Municipal collection system and treatment plant decision makers. Industrial sales focus will be in the areas of oil, gas and refining, industrial wastewater & process water treatment, air emissions control, remediation and total chemical management programs.

This is a home-office based position and the successful candidate must be located in the Mid-Atlantic / Southeast region preferably near a major airport in NC, SC, GA, FL or AL. Please note this position is designated for candidates with a minimum of 5-10 years of sales experience in municipal and/or industrial water/wastewater treatment and chemical technology applications. Petrochemical and or refinery applications experience a plus. Candidates who do not meet these criteria will not be considered.
