Industrial Hygiene Officer
Assesses and minimizes risks associated with potentially hazardous agents and ensures compliance with federal, state, and local regulations in the areas of laboratory and chemical safety. Develops, supervises, and implements industrial hygiene programs in a clinical and biomedical research environment that include chemical monitoring, hazard communications, respiratory protection, air quality, and hearing conversation. Performs other related duties as assigned or directed to meet the goals and objectives of the department and the institution.
