Lake Havasu City is located on the eastern shore of Lake Havasu on the Colorado River border in the midst of a triangle whose three (3) points are Las Vegas, Los Angeles and Phoenix. McCulloch Properties, Inc. established the town in 1963 and incorporated in 1978. The city encompasses approximately 42 square miles. It is the home of the London Bridge, which was authentically reconstructed in 1971 ...and is one of Arizona’s top tourist attractions.
Between 1990 and 2013, the City’s population increased by over 116%, from 24,363 to approximately 52,742. The city’s growth is attributed to affordable housing, an excellent school system, low crime rate, clean environment, great recreational opportunities, and mild winter temperatures. With more than 300 sunny days a year, Lake Havasu City is a great place to live and raise a family.
