Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on process instrumentation equipment
Install, improve and modify process equipment, PLC/DCS/SCADA controls, radio telemetry, system computers and network.
Perform adjustments and calibrations of instrumentation using prepared chemical standards, portable electronic meters and related calibration equipment.
Install new equipment and wire according to electrical codes, schematics, diagrams and industry standards.
Utilization of computer maintenance management system.
Lead, train, direct and instruct other employees as required.
High School diploma plus graduation from a two (2) year vocational/technical school with instrumentation and electronic emphasis and four (4) years’ experience in the maintenance and repair of electronic measurement devices and systems.
A combination of education and experience which clearly demonstrates ability to perform the duties of the class may be substituted for education and formal training.
Preferred recruiting requirements
Standard principles and practices applied to preventive and corrective maintenance of instrumentation used in the wastewater industry for treatment plants, pump station systems and or similar industries.
GE and Allen Bradley programming experience is preferred.
