Arthrex is a global medical device company and a leader in new product development and medical education in orthopedics. Working as an Industrial Hygienist in the EHS department, you will support the manufacturing operations team with identifying potential hazards, evaluating existing programs and managing occupational health programs. Excellent communications skills, industry certification and a Bachelors’ degree in Engineering, Occupational Safety or related discipline will be essential for this position. This position will be located at our manufacturing site in Ave Maria, Southwest Florida.
The Environmental Health & Safety Specialist supports manufacturing operations through the identification of potential hazards, evaluation of existing practices, and the implementation of controls to ensure a safe, healthful and productive environment. The Specialist provides a high level of technical expertise to Management, and other EH&S staff members. Additionally, the EH&S Specialist will be people-oriented with the ability to affect change.
