The City of Tacoma is accepting applications for a Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator. Wastewater Treatment Plant Operators perform skilled work in the operation and maintenance of wastewater treatment, sludge processing and laboratory process control equipment in a wastewater treatment facility; maintain operating conditions by interpreting meters, gauges, biological and chemical analysis and observation of the treatment process; maintain equipment and facilities in a safe, effective and orderly condition.This is an excellent opportunity to join the City of Tacoma in a classification that allows for promotional opportunities. You would have the ability to grow with an exciting organization that is currently working on a major upgrade to the Strategic Plan.
