The Primary Purpose of the SOS Operations Manager is to bring unity, efficiency and optimal productivity to the Driver, Shop and Transfer Station Departments. We are looking for an experienced, dynamic team leader who feels as comfortable out in the field with the drivers as behind a computer analyzing data and proposing more efficient options. Areas of accountability include: route logistics and efficiency, fleet management, and team training. The position is part of the Core Executive Team, reporting directly to the General Manager, and will directly supervise the Area Crew Chiefs, the Facilities Manager, and the Head Mechanic.

This is a Full-Time, Salaried, Over-Time Exempt position. Scheduled hours are based upon the needs of the position but require core office hours aligning with the hours of the direct reports. The position is based out of our Grants Pass office but will require travel to all service locations including Josephine, Jackson and Douglas Counties.

3 years Solid Waste Industry Experience or comparable Driver Team Logistics Experience
Associates Degree in Business Managed Preferred
Valid Driver's License (CDL Class B preferred)
