EMSL Analytical, Inc. one of the largest environmental testing laboratories in the US is seeking a National Industrial Hygiene Program Manager. The National Industrial Hygiene Program Manager will oversee the Industrial Hygiene operations and assist Corporate Management in developing and implementing growth, diversification, and the strategic direction for this service line. The National Industrial Hygiene Program Manager will develop and manage the industrial hygiene program for EMSL Analytical, Inc. to ensure that EMSL’s service offerings are up to date with applicable local, state and federal regulations as well as the latest trends in Industrial Hygiene and Occupational Health and Safety. The National Industrial Hygiene Program Manager strives to achieve operational objectives by contributing information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews. This position monitors policies and procedures in the area of industrial hygiene specific to sampling and analytical methods. This position is responsible for providing expert advice on industrial hygiene services to internal and external customers in order to provide excellent customer service. Responsibilities: Consults with clients regarding routine and appropriate analytical methods, sampling media and sampling techniques Train and assist sales team on industrial hygiene tests, pricing and written quotations/proposals Review, manage and continuously improve pump/equipment rental program, software applications, customer data deliverables and technology platforms for industrial hygiene service line Work collaboratively with Technical staff to improve quality, implement new test methods, expand and diversify EMSL IH labs in the US and Canada Business Development and Sales duties to new and existing customers to increase industrial hygiene revenue and market share Attend conferences, local chapter meetings and give presentations to increase EMSL brand awareness and credibility in the industrial hygiene laboratory market sector

Minimum Qualifications Requires a Bachelor’s degree in industrial hygiene, occupational health & safety, chemistry, environmental science, or related field. Certified Industrial Hygienist is preferred Must have minimum five years’ experience in the field of industrial hygiene, and/or equivalent experience; and also advanced knowledge of the requirements of regulatory agencies (i.e. NIOSH, EPA, OSHA, etc.). Must be able to perform multiple tasks and detailed work, problem solve, and work in a dynamic and fast paced environment.
