This position is located in the Industrial Hygiene Department, in the Directorate for Public Health at Naval Hospital Twentynine Palms (NHTP), Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center (MCAGCC), Twentynine Palms, CA. The department serves the MCAGCC, a large live fire combat training center with associated tenant commands and support activities. The selectee performs the duties of an Industrial Hygienist. (Note - Courses in the history or teaching of chemistry are not acceptable); OR possess a Bachelor's degree in a branch of engineering, physical science, or life science that included 12 semester hours in chemistry, including organic chemistry, and 18 additional semester hours of courses in any combination of chemistry, physics, engineering, health physics, environmental health, biostatistics, biology, physiology, toxicology, epidemiology, or industrial hygiene. The degree was accredited by an accrediting body recognized by the U.S. Department of Education at the time my degree was obtained.
