The Bureau of Environmental Services (BES) is actively seeking a skilled planning professional with a background in infrastructure planning, city, urban or regional planning, landscape architecture, environmental science, hydrology, or closely related field, with a focus on areas such as current-planning, master planning, policy development, asset management, or systems planning. This City Planner II position with a Water Resource specialty will use general knowledge of planning principals and infrastructure systems to perform complex and responsible professional planning assignments including analyzing development proposals against stormwater and utility codes as part of discretionary land use reviews, preparing written findings and presenting to decision-making bodies, and helping shape policy through collaboration and coordination with internal and external stakeholders. Utility or infrastructure planning experience is highly desirable.
