Teck Alaska Incorporated, Red Dog Operations, one of the world's largest producers of zinc concentrate, is recruiting for an Industrial Hygienist. Due to anticipated needs, we are currently recruiting for a career oriented individual to fill this role.
Rotation schedule will be two weeks onsite and one week offsite or four weeks onsite and two weeks offsite.
Reporting to the Coordinator, Safety & Health the Industrial Hygienist is responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive program to reduce employee exposures to chemical, physical, biological and ergonomic stressors. The Industrial Hygienist is accountable for recommending, implementing and maintaining policies, programs and procedures to effectively protect the health of employees at Red Dog Operations.
