The Director of Sanitation is responsible for all aspects of the Sanitation Department including direction for the following divisions: Residential Collection, Commercial/Industrial Collection, Landfill, and Fleet/Grounds Maintenance.

A bachelor’s degree is required with specialization in business, environmental management, or public administration preferred. Knowledge of the operations of a sanitation department and/or sanitary landfill is preferred. The selected candidate must be able to develop and maintain sound management policies and procedures and to participate in their administration.
