About the Position:
ESA is seeking a mid- to senior-level Air Quality scientist/engineer for our Los Angeles, Pasadena, or Santa Monica offices. The ideal candidate will have 6 to 10 years of experience conducting air quality impact assessment (AQIAs) and greenhouse gas (GHG) analyses. Applicants should be experts with air quality and health risk assessment models such as CalEEMod, EMFAC, AERMOD, and HARP, and their application to permitting/compliance issues and/or CEQA and NEPA.
Position requires deep experience with air quality and greenhouse gas policies and regulations. Excellent written and analytical skills are required. Experience with project/task management responsibilities for moderate to large size projects and serving as a principal technical investigator for medium to high complexity projects is required. Candidates should have a minimum of a BA/BS and 6+ years of experience (or a Masters and 4+ years’ experience). Candidates with additional experience are highly desirable and would be considered for more senior employment levels.
