The City of Bend is seeking a Program Manager - Environmental Compliance to join the Utility Department management team while providing leadership, direction and organization of the Industrial PreTreatment program and staff.The Industrial Pretreatment Program protects the environment and the City of Bend Water Reclamation Facility (WRF) and wastewater collection system by regulating potentially harmful wastewater discharges from commercial and industrial sources. By ensuring that discharge regulations are met, we improve the ability to treat the City's wastewater and better provide protection to the environment. The position requires a self-motivated leader that brings organization, positive energy, and motivation for growth while also keeping focus on the regulatory requirements for the City's IPP program, working in collaboration with affected businesses and regulatory agencies.
