The Atlantic County Utilities Authority (ACUA) is a public wastewater and solid waste authority. We are seeking a qualified candidate for the position of Vice President of Centralized Maintenance and Asset Management. The Vice President of Centralized Maintenance and Asset Management reports to the President of the ACUA. The selected candidate is responsible for the direct management of Centralized Maintenance and Asset Management for all Divisions of the Authority. The Vice President oversees a staff of forty to forty-five employees. The incumbent will provide strategic and tactical leadership, asset management expertise and managerial capabilities within their areas of responsibility. This includes the management of asset selection and procurement, repairs, maintenance, and external shared services. Assists in project development and management as well as providing operational, and personnel leadership to the operating teams to maintain efficient and cost-effective business operations while maintaining compliance with all regulatory, environmental, health and safety rules and requirements.
Applicants are required to have at least the following: A Bachelor’s degree in a related field, i.e., Business Management, Engineering or Asset Management with a minimum of five years of management experience in asset management, engineering, maintenance or shared services.
