Full Time - Experienced
Reporting to our Sun City, AZ office, this individual
aintain the overall strategic direction, performance and efficiency of the control systems, data communications systems and reporting systems to ensure secure and reliable operations at our water and wastewater facilities.
Effectively manage staff that provides day-to-day support for operations personnel to ensure that process control systems continue to meet operational requirements efficiently and reliably.
Develop and implement programmatic maintenance activities on process control equipment or systems.
Participate in the development, review and implementation of process control systems.
Implement a robust quality compliance check process to ensure quality of process control systems.
Lead implementation and roll out of SCADA reporting system across U.S. business.
Develop and ensure implementation of common SCADA architecture across U.S. business.
Work with controls staff & production personnel implementing appropriate policies, standards, practices, and guidelines for all phases of process control system implementation and maintenance in alignment with program strategic direction.
Requires a 4-year degree in Electrical, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent. Must have valid driver’s license with good driving record.
Skills and Knowledge:
Requires understanding of programmable process controller configuration for Allen-Bradley PLC’s as well as understanding of human machine interface (HMI) configuration with Wonderware. Knowledge of WIMS software and database. Requires knowledge of business applications, Microsoft Office products and productivity tools (e.g. MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Requires strong management skills.
5-7 years’ experience with technical support, instrumentation and process control system hardware and software design, programming, installation, commissioning and maintenance.
Experience with data communications systems, protocols, wired and wireless network systems, and radio telemetry.
Management of project teams working on complex technical applications (regulated-industry experience is preferred).
Office environment with frequent field exposure. Occasional travel is required to facilities outside the Phoenix-metro area.
Additional Salary Information: Salary also includes annual 15% short term incentive bonus.
